Go-to-market is the angle of fire before pulling the trigger. 73% of B2B startups fail not on product but on commercial execution (CB Insights, 2024). This workshop doesn't rewrite your pitch — it stress-tests three hypotheses: who you actually speak to, why now, and how you differentiate against existing alternatives (including doing nothing). We've run this exercise with 40+ founders on The Unicorn season 1, across verticals as varied as B2B fintech, HR SaaS, edtech, AI deeptech and marketplaces.
The 3 calls, in detail. Call 1 (D+1): we dissect your current pitch — value proposition, intent signals from your first leads, acquisition channel choice. You walk out with a structured feedback grid and 3 corrections to ship within 48h. Call 2 (D+15): you show us what you tested in the field (cold outreach, demo calls, landing tests). We consolidate positioning, identify the tipping segment, and define your messaging hierarchy — which angle for which persona. Call 3 (D+30): interpretation of metrics (open rate, reply rate, call → opportunity conversion), trade-off on the growth strategy (founder-led sales, channel partners, product-led growth) and a 90-day execution plan.
Who it's built for — and who it's not. This workshop is designed for founders with a product (even MVP), making or about to make their first sales, who want to avoid burning 6 months and €50k of marketing budget on the wrong segment. It's not a product scoping workshop (see MVP Operation) nor long-term sales coaching. Pre-MVP, validate your value prop first; if you already have €50k MRR and 3 reps, you need a VP Sales, not us.

How is this different from a growth coach or strategy consultant?
A growth coach optimizes existing channels; a strategy consultant delivers a market study. We challenge the business thesis from the founder's seat — because we've lived it across 3 fundraises and 70+ products shipped. The workshop isn't an audit, it's a confrontation. After 3 calls, you know whether your GTM holds, or whether you need to pivot. No 30-page PowerPoint delivered 6 weeks later.
When in the founder journey should I run this?
Ideal timing: MVP in hand, 5 to 20 customer conversations completed, first sales (or refusals) recorded. Too early (idea still fuzzy), the exercise spins empty. Too late (€50k+ MRR), you need optimization tactics, not GTM redefinition. Most founders we work with are between €0 and €10k MRR — a phase where every month counts.
Why 3 calls of 30 min and not a one-day workshop?
Because GTM is validated in the field, not in a room. The 30-day spread forces you to test between calls — that's where real decisions emerge. A one-day workshop gives you the illusion of having decided. Three 30-min calls over a month give you market evidence.
What if we identify a major pivot?
It's one of the most frequent outcomes — and that's the point. Of the 40+ founders coached via The Unicorn, around 30% reconsidered their target segment or value proposition after Call 2. If you decide to pivot, we can switch to an MVP Operation to reshape the product. The €995 fee is an investment, not a sunk cost.
Is the price negotiable? Is there a deposit?
Fixed €995 excl. VAT, payable on booking. No deposit, no day rate, no change order. If the workshop doesn't happen on your end, the slot is rescheduled once at no cost. If we cancel, full refund within 7 days. The slot opens upon receipt of payment and a product brief from you.
Can you work in markets you don't know?
Yes — the methodology is sector-agnostic. We've coached founders across mental health (Meeriad), EdTech (The Patch), fintech, legal, industry 4.0, mobility, AdTech. What we bring isn't fine-grained vertical knowledge (you have that) but a proven analytical grid that turns your knowledge into an action plan. If your market requires deep regulatory expertise (clinical health, banking, defense), we say so upfront and frame our limits.
