About the project
The project is built for municipal police forces. Through AR smart glasses, the solution lets officers on patrol identify potential suspects in real time, synchronised with the city's fixed camera network. The whole system connects to more than 10 different data sources.

Our favorite features
Act and prevent
Fixed cameras help cities improve security. They are a valuable tool for police services. But they cannot act directly — they are "passive" systems — and above all, they cannot share data between services.
In this project we successfully integrated 10 data sources into a powerful AI algorithm. That lets the system not only react in real time but also prevent problems.
Streamlining field work
Thanks to multiple data sources, officers in the field are alerted only when an individual is identified — making prevention work, until now very difficult, finally practical.
Conception
The team designed the entire solution: from the application to the back-office, including a steering dashboard.
The architecture, the AI algorithm and the technical specifications of the connected glasses were also integrated into the design to optimise the system.
Development
The technical work covered a wide range of areas: AI integration, development of an Android and iOS application, development of the back-office and development of the tracking tool for the Operational Centre.
Support & Maintenance
We continue to support and maintain this operational system with three priorities:
- Hardware support.
- Maintenance of the connected system.
- A call centre when needed.
Technologies used
We used a combination of Go, Python, MySQL and Oracle. All running on a secure public network, with a distributed architecture to maximise service availability.
