Seiki

Seiki is an OOH media intelligence platform that turns campaign objectives into optimised media plans, thanks to geo-data and an interactive map.

About the project
Seiki Digital Media Platform is the first OOH media intelligence platform designed for the Saudi market.
Designed for media owners, agencies and advertisers, it centralises the management of advertising estates, scenario building, performance measurement (reach, coverage, GRP) and geographic visualisation via H3 grids.

Our favorite features

Campaign Intelligence Center
A centralised workspace to create scenarios, build campaigns, import advertising estates from CSV and live-monitor consolidated metrics (OTS, coverage, GRP). Teams turn a brief into an actionable media plan without ever leaving the platform.

Interactive H3 mapping
A Mapbox visualisation augmented with hexagonal H3 rendering via deck.gl. Each billboard displays its KPIs (net contacts, frequency, coverage) directly on the map, letting media teams identify high-affinity zones at a glance.
Conception
OOH media is an expert craft: planners, data analysts and media owners all speak a specific vocabulary (OTS, GRP, reach, H3 coverage…).
The design phase first mapped these business flows, then translated them into a product architecture organised around four modules — Intelligence, Visualization, Export and Analytics — each conceived as an autonomous but interoperable building block.

Design
Seiki handles dense data volumes: thousands of billboards, dozens of KPIs, time-based and socio-demographic breakdowns. The design system was built to let information breathe without ever diluting it.
Calibrated typography, strict hierarchy, a sober palette offset by colour accents on the data — the promise was clear: give the media planner the feeling of running a cockpit, not filling out a spreadsheet.
Development
The architecture relies on an asynchronous FastAPI backend (Celery + Redis) that talks to a proprietary KPI API through a job/poll pattern. The UmiJS frontend orchestrates Mapbox + deck.gl mapping, handles RBAC and streams metrics. The whole stack is deployed on Google Cloud, designed to absorb batches of several thousand billboards without ever blocking the interface.

Technologies used
Powered by FastAPI's speed and the power of deck.gl on Mapbox, Seiki runs on a PostgreSQL / Redis / Celery infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud.
