About the project
TiP (Travel in your Pocket) is a premium travel assistant available on 4 Apple platforms — iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision. The user describes their wishes in natural language and TiP builds the itinerary: flights, hotels, activities, all integrated into a single conversation.
The itinerary can be consulted in real time with automatic updates, all travel documents are centralised offline, and members get access to exclusive discounts and reserved services. One app to replace ten planning tabs.

Smart travel assistant
The app embeds an AI-powered conversational assistant that lets users plan their trips simply by chatting with the app. The tool automatically generates itineraries, activity suggestions and personalised recommendations.
Travel journals
Users can publish travel journals, share their photos and leave reviews of their experiences. This community dimension enriches the content and inspires future travellers.
Conception
Planning a trip means juggling dozens of tabs, apps and scattered notes.
TiP was born out of the desire to centralise everything without complicating anything. The design organised the experience around two key moments: upstream preparation (itineraries, lists, recommendations) and real-time capture (journal, photos, memories). The challenge was to make these two modes coexist without one encroaching on the other.
Design
Lightness and richness at the same time — that's the equation design had to solve. The interfaces reflect the mindset of the curious traveller: open, airy, with just enough structure to never get lost.
Particular care was given to micro-interactions, because a travel app is often consulted in constrained contexts: under the sun, on a train, with an unstable connection.
Development
The smart travel assistant and journal modules were built on an architecture that treats offline synchronisation as a first-class citizen, not a late add-on. The result: 5x less time spent looking for info to prepare a trip, and a single app to cover 100% of the journey.
Technologies used
Powered by FastAPI's speed and Flutter's versatility, TiP is built on a robust PostgreSQL/Redis infrastructure hosted on AWS.
